WoodZip ™
Thought of as an “all purpose” wood screw, WoodZip™ #10 is a carbon steel fastener with zinc plating galvanization. It can be used in metal panel-to- wood substrate installation and many other applications, including ridge vent installation. WoodZip™ comes standard with DMG85 multi-layer long life anti-corrosion coating on the entire screw and is tested to surpass 1000hr salt spray Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade corrosion-resistance requirements. For coastal installations or other high-corrosion applications, #9, #10 and #12 WoodZip™ are available with a stainless steel capped head (SCAMP) or full 18-8/304 stainless steel.
